During the winter months, visitors to the resort will love the excitement of Upper Peninsula snowmobiling. Hit the trails with friends and family and connect with other trails to get to great destinations. Big Manistique Resort is located on the hub of hundreds of miles of marked and groomed Snowmobile trails. Our Curtis Area Chamber of Commerce maintains and grooms over 140 miles of snowmobile trails every year. Our trail system branches out to connect to over 2,500 miles of routes in all directions.

We also have many other winter activities like cross country skiing at the Erickson Center for the Arts property. Some of the best ice skating, snow-shoeing and ice-fishing right out your cottage door here on Big Manistique Lake. We are planning on making a ice rink here for our guests this year, bring your skates!

Warm Weather Activities
Spring, summer and fall guests can enjoy a huge array of Things to Do. Guests can experience fishing Big Manistique Lake, boating, tubing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, agate hunting, mushrooming, biking, and paddle boarding. Kayaks are available for rent. We also are in the center of the fastest growing outdoor activity - Curtis, MI UTVing, ATVing & ORVing.
When you vacation here, you will be centered amongst the largest lake complex in the Upper Peninsula. This incredible lake complex consists of six lakes: Big Manistique Lake, North Manistique Lake, South Manistique Lake, Lake Ann Louis, Milakokia Lake, and Millecoquins Lake.
